One of the things I love about this series is that no matter how often Claire is forced to team up with the Vamps, there is always a reminder that in the end they are not human, they are dangerous, and that they can only ever be trusted in limited means.I keep waiting for them to be humanized and softened...and I love it that it doesn't happen. I especially like how this plays out in Michael, as someone caught in the middle of both worlds.I can't wait to read the next book!
