It took me until book 3 to really be drawn into this world. I read the first one, and thought it fell on the good side of OK. Which wasn't quite good enough to inspire me to read #2. However, I eventually gave into peer pressure, and picked up the second book about 10 months later. It too was ok, but not mind-blowing. I decided to give the series one more chance.I'm glad I did, as I am finally beginning to enjoy hanging out with Ms. Plum.
