The Sky is Everywhere - Jandy Nelson 4.5 Stars The Sky is Everywhere is the story of 17-year old Lennie, and how she copes with the sudden death of her old sister Bailey. And in it's wake her unwanted attraction to her Sister's Boyfriend Toby, her feelings for the new boy Joe, and how she fits into a family that is missing not just her sister, but the Mother who abandoned her as a baby.I think this might be one of those books that you either love or wonder what all the hype is about. One thing is certain, the emotions of this book overwhelmed me at times, the grief, the love, the lust, the anger, and the uncertainty of it all. I found myself experiencing them with her, and wanting to shout at her a few times. And most of all wanting to just lay down in Gram's garden and hang with Gram, Big, Joe and Lennie.
