Forbidden - Tabitha Suzuma This was such a powerful book. How else can I explain how I started it, thinking "Eww...yucky" but soon found myself desperately hoping that Lochan & Maya would somehow find a way to be surmount the odds and be together. This book broke my heart. I wanted to smack the Mom upside the head, and take care of all the siblings because they all deserve so much better than they had. I was devastated by the ending, literally sick to my stomach. But in the end, it was all too believable, both by Lochan, and by Maya
