I downloaded this free e-book because of the high ratings. And I found it somewhat entertaining, though there were many things that drove me crazy. The MC seemed kind of stupid missing obvious clues, and the many many misunderstandings got irritating (just talk to each other already!), and the villain was a bit over the top, but it started out well, and entertained me enough to finish it....
