High Fidelity

High Fidelity - Anyone who has an obsession with some sort of media and a litany of failed relationships will enjoy traveling through the neuroses of Hornby's Rob Fleming.Though I found the book an enjoyable read, that wasn't what earned it one of my rare 5 star ratings. Instead, sandwiched between humor and pop culture references was the very real truth that human emotions and the relationships that result from them are usually messy, often complicated, and can never measure up to the great ecstatic and overwhelming love stories that media encourages us to believe is the only true form of love.
