Bitter Blood (Morganville Vampires Series #13)

Bitter Blood - Rachel Caine Actual rating: 3.5 StarsI almost didn't read this book, frankly I was starting to feel that this series was kind of played out. Whereas the author does a pretty good job at letting the charcters evolve over time, there was something about the past couple of books that just didn't seem in the same league as the rest of the series. (Maybe I just didn't care for the Draug storyline?)This book, was sitting in my "To-Return-to-the-Library" pile, when I scooped it up on a whim, and thought I'd at least check out the first chapter. I'm so glad I did. I feel like this was the series I'd come to know and love. And for the record... Scary Amelie, so much scarier than Oliver!,It's nice to actually be looking forward to the next book, again.
