Watchmen - Dave Gibbons, John Higgins, Alan Moore I admit that I am not a big fan of graphic novels. In fact, In the past only my love of all things Joss Whedon, and my withdrawal for the Buffy universe was enough to make me overcome this medium. This book is on the list of 1001 books to read before you die, and I ignorantly thought "graphic novel, easy read". But the joke was definitely on me, as I found this quite difficult to get through.Overall I liked the story, the message of the story, and it's sense of irony, but even with all that in it's favor, I needed to force myself to finish.
