Naamah's Kiss - Jacqueline Carey I think it was a bit easier for me to fall in love with this book because unlike most of the reviews I read, I was not in love with her previous books or characters. I read her first book, and enjoyed it, but felt that it told as much about Phedre as I was interested in knowing. With that said, I was reluctant to pick this book up, but saw it at the library and threw it in my bag on a whim. I'm glad I did. And I am even thinking that perhaps I should give her earlier books another try.
