The Iron Duke - Meljean Brook I loved loved loved the alternate history of this world: the horde, the bugs, the frenzies, the personal history of the main character. It was a completely excellent concept. With that said, I am just not a fan of books in the Romance Genre. Though the sex scenes in this were less "Flowery" than some, something I appreciated; but still I found it hard to keep from rolling my eyes. The hero determined he was going to make her his, forever, the first time he met her? Really?!?
