Christmas at Harrington's - Melody Carlson 2.5 StarsI read this because I was in the mood for something Christmasy and I'd downloaded it free from Amazon last year. I knew it was going to be preachy, because I am familiar with Melody Carlson from my distant past.I found it quite naive, and some of the scenes were REALLY hard to believe. (I can't imagine leaving my 6 year old daughter with a stranger I'd just met for any reason), and of course the ending was happy and wrapped up in a perfect little bow, but I think it helped that I expected such.Still with a little eye-rolling, and some fast skimming over the super christiany parts, it amused me for a few hours.
