Paper Valentine - Brenna Yovanoff I have reached that point where I have become so enamored of the Author, that unbiased rating becomes an impossibility. There is such a dark and melancholy aspect to her writing that is unique in YA. And though her works tend to be gothic and haunting, she has a way of injecting realism into the stories through her well-crafted depiction of broken characters. And though her stories may sometimes leave you with unanswered questions, to me that is simply a major theme of our existence.
