The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark - Ann Druyan, Carl Sagan I read this as part of a book exchange with my husband. It was kind of hit and miss for me, mainly in part because I found it a bit dated, and I feel like we've as a society made strides in this area. My favorite part of this book was reading the notes my husband made when he read it about 10 years ago, He cracked me up.
